Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for an Occupational Therapist providing specialized services in an elementary school setting located in Sunnyvale, CA. The role is a contract position focusing on paternity leave coverage during March and April, with a full-time schedule of 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering occupational therapy services tailored to students developmental and educational needs
• Managing a caseload of approximately 35 students
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to design and implement individualized therapy plans
• Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with school policies and regulatory standards
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary approaches for student support

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist licensure with experience in school-based therapy settings
• Knowledge of childhood developmental milestones and educational interventions
• Strong communication skills for working closely with children, families, and educational professionals
• Ability to manage caseload efficiently while maintaining thorough documentation and case notes
• Familiarity with elementary school environments and student needs
