Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Billing Specialist to support a high-volume legal billing team in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of recent law firm billing experience, including a strong background in insurance billing and e?billing workflows. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and perform billing functions for insurance-related matters within a legal environment.
- Prepare and process e?bills accurately, including handling and reconciling multiple LEDES files.
- Use Aderant and excel to draft, review, and finalize invoices.
- Partner with attorneys, legal staff, and accounting personnel to ensure billing accuracy and compliance with established guidelines.
- Track outstanding insurance claims and payments, following up proactively to support timely revenue collection.
- Maintain strong organizational practices and attention to detail while working in a deadline-driven setting.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of billing experience in a law firm environment.
- Strong proficiency with Aderant billing software.
- Extensive experience with e?billing and insurance billing processes.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with Pre?Bill Viewer or similar billing review platforms.
Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
