Job Type: Full-Time
Industry: Coil Industrial Manufacturing
Schedule: [6:00am-2:30pm] Must be available to work Overtime and weekends
Pay: $22-$25 hourly; depending on experience
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our coil industrial manufacturing facility in Pico Rivera, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on coil processing and other industrial manufacturing equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues
- Repair and replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments
- Perform welding and fabrication as needed
- Maintain and troubleshoot motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems
- Document maintenance activities and complete work orders accurately
- Ensure all maintenance tasks comply with safety regulations and company policies
- Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades
- Collaborate with production staff and other maintenance personnel to minimize downtime
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic (coil processing or metal manufacturing experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Welding and fabrication experience a plus
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment
