A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school in Anaheim, CA. This position offers a contract for the current school year (CSY) and involves managing a diverse elementary caseload. The role benefits from on-site Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) support, providing collaborative opportunities to enhance student services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy to elementary students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations
- Utilize evidence-based practices to address speech and language disorders
Desired Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working in school settings as an SLP
- Ability to manage an elementary school caseload effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with educational assessments and IEP processes
