Job DescriptionVolt is immediately hiring for a Deburr for a company in Santa Ana, CA

Summary: Deburrer, inspects forged parts for any forging flash defects and/or excess metal from manufactured parts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Use surface de-burring, sanding and grinding tools to remove excess metal from manufacture parts to specification
  • Visually and physically inspect forged parts to ensure all excess metal is removed
  • Select the proper size de-burr/grinder to remove excess metal from manufactured parts
  • Remove defects and flash extension per part requirements
  • Maintain accurate part and or work piece counts
  • Assure quality and production requirements are met, as per the job-specific traveler

This is a full time opportunity. 5 days a week. 8+ hours per day

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2-4 years experience working in Manufacturing/Aerospace environment
  • Mechanically inclined with hand/power tools

Schedule: Monday thru Thursday 5:00AM to 3:30PM, Friday and Saturday 5:00AM to 1:30PM (Overtime are mandatory)

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
