Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and possess a comprehensive understanding of Civil Litigation. This role involves representing clients in legal proceedings, offering legal advice, and ensuring compliance with various regulations. Preferred if you have experience in labor and employment but we can train if you're looking to switch practice areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in court and legal proceedings
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents
- Provide legal advice on labor law, business law, and employment law matters
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Advise clients on compliance with OSHA, CAL, DOL, and ALRB regulations
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active state bar license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation
- Knowledge of labor law, business law, and employment law preferred, but will train
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
