Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity to provide specialized occupational therapy services within a K-12 educational setting. The role focuses on supporting students by developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to enhance their functional abilities and promote successful participation in school activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students needs and create tailored occupational therapy interventions.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional recommendations.
- Adapt therapeutic techniques to accommodate diverse learning environments and student needs.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid and current Occupational Therapist licensure.
- Experience providing occupational therapy services within school settings, preferably across K-12 grades.
- Strong knowledge of school-based therapy practices and federal/state regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to student-centered care and promoting inclusive educational experiences.

Duration: Contract position for the current school year (CSY)
