We are looking for a skilled Contract Analyst to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Chatsworth, California. In this role, you will manage and oversee all aspects of contracts, ensuring compliance and timely delivery while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. This position requires someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of government contracts and industry practices.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the full lifecycle of contracts, including reviewing terms, entering data accurately, and ensuring timely delivery.
• Conduct thorough reviews of contract changes and modifications, addressing cost, specifications, documentation, and schedules.
• Maintain effective communication with both internal teams and external customers, including government contracting officers, to ensure smooth contract processing.
• Interpret contract requirements and analyze the impact of changes, supporting the development of government contract proposals.
• Evaluate RFQs and RFPs, verifying terms and conditions before vendor quotes are processed.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and buying commands to issue contract modifications as needed.
• Participate actively in team meetings and projects, contributing to continuous improvement and achieving organizational goals.
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools and other systems to manage contracts and maintain accurate records.
• Investigate and resolve contract-related issues to ensure compliance and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field; or three to five years of aerospace manufacturing or government contracts experience.
• Familiarity with government contracts, including FAR parts 12, 13, and 15, and experience with government systems and online portals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
• Previous experience with SyteLine or similar ERP systems is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with customers and colleagues.
• Demonstrated expertise in contract administration, management, and negotiation.
• Ability to analyze complex contract data and provide actionable insights.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining strategic relationships with stakeholders.
