Job DescriptionVolt is immediately hiring for an Maintenance Technician/ Facilities Technician Van Nuys, CA (Onsite)
Position Type: Full time Contract
Duration: 12 months
Location: Van Nuys, CA (Onsite)
As a Maintenance Technician/ Facilities Technician you will be responsible for
- Maintenance and repair of the facility's structure, equipment and grounds, including all trades (mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
- Performs trades work, such as carpentry or painting, in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures.
- Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
- Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
- Knowledge of applicable standards or regulations, and specific trade certifications.
- Perform on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair and calibration.
- Handle basic, non-complex products and/or problems, referring more complex problems to higher-level technicians.
- Uses experience and technical skills with preventative maintenance and system, operations to determine service requirements.
- Advise manager of preventative maintenance inspections performed and corrective actions to be taken
Ideal Candidate will have
- High School Diploma with 4 years’ experience or 2 years college and two years relevant experience
- Experience and technical skills with preventative maintenance and system, operations to determine service requirements.
Pay Range: $28.00-$30.00 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
