The Role: Mechanical and Electrical Assembly Technician
In the Final Assembly Locomotive division, you'll be instrumental in bringing our cutting-edge rail vehicles to life. As an assembly technician, your role involves rigorous engagement in a stimulating production realm.
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in assembling locomotives, coaches, and rail vehicles by working on components like roofs, cable harnesses, and more.
- Expert assembly and completion of low to high voltage interfaces.
- Ensure the flawless installation of copper and stainless steel piping networks.
- Partake in windshield installation and refurbishing tasks.
- Equip yourself with knowledge spanning various tools and systems, enabling component reworks.
- Deploy blueprints and measurements accurately to ensure fitting assembly components.
Your Qualifications:
- Possession of a High school diploma or GED with at least a year's experience in manufacturing.
- Proficient in mechanical, electrical, and blueprint reading skills.
- Versatile experience in automotive/mechanical systems enhances your electrical prowess.
- Familiarity with plumbing, HVAC, and compressed air systems alongside robust tool-handling skills.
- Frequently required to walk, kneel, or work at heights, involving vision skills that enhance precision and perception.

Location & Compensation:
Situated in the vibrant locale of Sacramento, CA, join a leader in train manufacturing. The starting wage is $20 per hour, with additional shift differentials applicable. Wages are determined by experience and skills.
