Job DescriptionSalary: $22 - $31/hour

Under the supervision of the Resident Services Program Manager, the Program Coordinator supports the day-to-day implementation of Resident Services programs across CHCDC housing sites. This role focuses on direct resident engagement, documenting program activities, coordinating services, supporting partnerships, and ensuring high-quality program delivery that strengthens resident stability, well-being, and community connectedness.

Major Responsibilities / Duties

  • Support implementation of core Resident Services programming at assigned housing sites.
  • Conduct resident outreach, engagement, and follow-up to support program participation and service connection.
  • Document resident interactions, program activities, referrals, and outcomes in Salesforce.

  • Assist with data collection, evaluation, and monthly reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate logistics for onsite programs, workshops, events, and partner-led activities.

  • Maintain strong working relationships with Property Management teams and external partners.
  • Support development and updates to Resident Services procedures, forms, and communication materials.

  • Assist in onboarding volunteers and coordinating volunteer-supported activities.
  • Conduct regular safety and community-environment observations at assigned housing sites.
  • Represent CHCDC at resident meetings, partner convenings, and community events.
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling, filing, and preparing materials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support program operations.

Qualifications

  • Commitment to the mission of CHCDC and passion for community-centered work.

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in social services, education, or related fields.
  • Experience working directly with diverse communities, preferably in affordable housing or nonprofit settings.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive resident information appropriately.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Valid CA Drivers License and reliable transportation.



Physical Requirements

Must be able to talk, hear, walk, stand, and occasionallylift upto 25 pounds. Regular travel between CHCDC housing sites isrequired. Reasonableaccommodationwill be provided as needed.
