Job DescriptionSalary: $17.50 - $18.25 DOE
Semper Valeo, LLC is a community work program for adults with developmental disabilities. Our primary focus is helping these individuals develop job skills and providing a variety of opportunities for them to do so. Our duties as Job coaches is to guide and direct these individuals so that they may be successful out in the community.
Shifts Needed: Monday - Friday: 8am - 4pm. Overtime possible.

Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Legal to work in California.
- Able to lift at least 30 lbs.
- Ability to follow all safety requirements in the workplace.
- Detailed-oriented and able to follow specific instructions.
- Able to stay on task for the entirety of their shifts, except for breaks.
- Able to follow instructions from more experienced and/or management staff.
- Willing to pursue skill growth and expand abilities.
- Willing to participate in a work culture with very high standards and expectations.
- Willing to work with as a team for the betterment of the individuals we serve.
- Able to maintain a professional attitude and approach when responding to challenging situations.
General Job duties:
- Transport clients to and from home and job sites on a daily basis.
- Prompt clients to complete jobs and tasks assigned by the Job/ Crew manager.
- Performance of all job duties designated by management.
- Handle behavior in an appropriate and effective manner.
- Monitoring of the service quality and promptly report deficiencies.
- Effectively Communicate with team members and Director throughout the day.
- Model appropriate workplace and social behaviors for Sempers clients.
- Track work hours for individuals you have been assigned to for the day.
- Document notes of any behaviors or significant events during the work day.
- Work alongside clients on job sites doing various tasks assigned by the job/ Crew manager.
- Direct and manage clients working on landscaping jobs.
- Direct and manage clients working on moving jobs.
- Direct and manage clients working on cleaning and grounds keeping jobs.
- Direct and manage clients on general labor jobs.
- Ensure clients are using equipment properly and safely.
- Supervise clients on community outings.
- Supervise clients in community and work settings.
- Take part in annual training and meetings.
- Communicate with your clients at job sites the needs and expectations.
