Paraeducator / RBT / Instructional Assistant Substitute Role
Location: Hollister, CA
Dates: ASAP 5/21/2026
Hours: 30 hours per week (Most assignments 8:30 AM 3:00 PM)
Pay: Para/IA $25/hr | RBT $30/hr

We are seeking dedicated Paraeducators, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and Instructional Assistants for a substitute role supporting students in K12 settings, with a strong focus on elementary and middle school. This position will work with students in 1:1 and classroom environments, often within the severe population.

Bilingual candidates are highly preferred.

Key Details:

Caseload may include 1:1 assignments and classroom support
Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other school staff to support student success
Engage with students requiring higher levels of behavioral or academic support

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED AND
Completed at least two years of study (48 units) at an accredited institution of higher education OR
Associates degree OR
Successful completion of the state-mandated para test (administered by Human Resources)

Experience with severe population preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
RBT candidates must have active certification
