Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Oakland, CA, supporting K-12 students across elementary and middle school settings. This contract role requires working onsite 3 to 4 days per week, primarily focusing on one elementary school and a middle school serving 6th-grade students. The contract duration aligns with the normal school year calendar.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • SLP eligibility or certification for school settings
  • Experience working with K-12 students, especially elementary and middle school populations
  • Ability to conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary and 6th-grade middle school students
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and progress monitoring for speech and language goals
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional recommendations
