Responsibilities and Duties
The certified massage therapist will provide medical and therapeutic massage in a medical facility
Design custom tailored massage therapy sessions based on the patient’s individual needs, provider's referrals.
Create an excellent experience for patients through a friendly and approachable attitude.
Applies skills and job knowledge in area of specialization.
Provides massage therapy, abiding by guidelines, draping procedures and massage therapist general code of ethics as established by the standards set forth by the American Massage Therapy Association.
Respects the patient’s right to privacy and maintains highly professional and strict HIPAA confidential relationship with the Patient.
Keep detailed and accurate progress notes.
Maintains orderly and sanitary work area at all times.
