We’re a pre-Series A startup backed by tier-1 investors, building a modern SaaS platform to transform the $20T manufacturing industry. Manufacturing is still highly manual—we’re using AI to automate workflows between vendors, customers, and manufacturers.
We’ve built a beta product and are now looking for a senior engineer to join our small team (5 engineers + CTO) to help architect, scale, and deliver a brand-new SaaS platform. This role is ideal for someone who has previously been a founding engineer or has led the architecture of a product from the ground up, and is now ready to take that experience into a technical leadership role.
Job Description

Architect and build core SaaS features for a web-based platform (B2B/customer-facing).

Make key technical decisions on frameworks, CI/CD, infrastructure, and tooling.

Lead code reviews and establish engineering best practices.

Partner closely with product and design to shape new features.

Contribute across the stack: backend (Python, Postgres, APIs) and frontend (TypeScript, React/Vue).

Balance hands-on coding with guiding architectural direction.
Qualifications

8–10+ years of software engineering experience.

Experience as a founding engineer or as the primary architect for a SaaS product, seeing it through 2+ years of development.

Strong backend (Python, databases, APIs, security) and frontend (React/Vue, TypeScript, SPAs) experience.

Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, IaC).

Track record of proposing and implementing frameworks and tools from scratch.

Comfortable in a startup environment—proactive, resourceful, and able to wear multiple hats.
Nice to Have

Experience with applied AI/ML in SaaS platforms.

Background in B2B SaaS or automation for complex workflows.
