Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Full-Time | Woodland, CA | 20252026 School Year

Blazer Jobs is actively hiring a dedicated Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to support students in a school district located in Woodland, CA.

Position Details:

• Full-time, onsite role

• Itinerant position providing services across multiple school sites; supporting students in classroom-based settings and 1:1 as needed

• Caseload information will be provided during the district interview

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Deaf Education or a related field

• Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential: Deaf and Hard of Hearing

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and knowledge of auditory/oral communication approaches

• Strong collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families to support student learning and communication needs

• Preferred: Prior school-based experience and familiarity with assistive listening devices and educational technology
