- Title: Senior Counsel
- Base: $175-190k + up to $45k in OT bonus opportunity annually (paid quarterly)
- Location: Southern CA (remote) - must reside within commutable distance to Orange County office
- PTO: Unlimited
- Roles are remote / work from home flexible
Position Overview
The Senior Counsel GL CD PI will provide expert legal guidance and support in General Liability, Construction Defects, and Personal Injury matters. This role is critical for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and managing legal risks while supporting the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of Insurance Defense civil litigation cases focused on GL, CD, PI
- Advocate for clients in court proceedings, settlement negotiations, mediations, and trials
- Lead 1st chair trials cradle to grave
Qualifications
- JD and CA bar in good standing
- 10+ years of experience of Insurance Defense
- 1st chair trial experience
- Proven experience with general liability, personal injury, or construction defect:
- personal injury OR large commercial CD cases like stadiums, airports, hotels, would be preferred
- Excellent legal writing and communication skills

- Base Salary is flexible, general range is $175-190k base Depending on Experience
- + additional production bonus opportunity up to $45,000 per year (paid quarterly)
- Possible Total Compensation Opportunity is generally approx ~$175-235k total annual comp opportunity
