Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This part-time Speech-Language Pathologist position supports K-8 students in a North Hollywood, CA school setting, focusing on mild to moderate needs. The role offers 15-20 hours weekly, working with students primarily experiencing language-based challenges and high-functioning autism, without severe needs. This contract position runs through the school year and reports directly to both the coordinator and directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K-8 students with mild to moderate disabilities, including language impairments and high-functioning autism.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and educational goals.
  • Collaborate with educators, coordinators, and directors to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes.
  • Participate in meetings and professional development activities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC).
  • Experience working in school settings, preferably K-8.
  • Expertise in managing mild to moderate language disorders and high-functioning autism.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work part-time hours, approximately 15-20 hours weekly.
