Job DescriptionJob Title: Data Analyst
Position Type: 9+ Month Project, possible extension, or conversion
Location: San Jose, CA 95110
What you will do:
- Drive analytics for revenue and engagement programs and A/b tests through analyzing results and communicating insights.
- Partner with product managers to understand product/customer behavior and features and use insights generated to make recommendations to improve customer experience and engagement.
- Be a specialist of stitching and calibrating sparse and noisy data across various data sources.
- Support regular ad-hoc data and analysis needs to better understand customer behavior.
- Build reporting frameworks / resources that enable partners to self-serve information.
- Partner with teams including product analytics, Go-To-Market, and Engineering
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 4-5 years of experience in a DS / data analyst role.
- Strong skills in a data science/analytics role with a proven track record of success
- Experience in hypothesis testing and A/b test analytics
- Expertise in working with large data sets using Hive/SQL
- Hands-on experience working with platforms like Databricks
- Expertise in developing sophisticated reports/dashboards using Tableau / PowerBI or other dashboarding tool
- Good attention to detail and ability to stitch and QA multiple data sources.
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
