HVAC Commercial Sales Estimator
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Project Sales Estimator to drive growth in our special projects and preventive maintenance (PM) service agreements. This role is ideal for a self-starter with 510+ years of experience in commercial HVAC sales/estimating, a strong technical background, and an established book of business.
Key Responsibilities
- Estimate, develop, and close commercial HVAC retrofit, replacement, and special project opportunities.
- Build and expand long-term client relationships in property management, healthcare, education, and corporate facilities.
- Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work required for HVAC installations.
- Prepare accurate estimates and proposals for HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and duct systems.
- Collaborate with sales and project management teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in project estimates.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and address any questions or concerns regarding estimates.
- Utilize estimating software, such as Xactimate, to generate detailed cost breakdowns and proposals for commercial projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends, equipment, and technologies to provide the best solutions to clients.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC estimating, particularly in commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and duct systems.
- Familiarity with estimating software, specifically Xactimate or similar tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings related to HVAC installations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to develop accurate and comprehensive estimates.
