Job Description

Responsibilities:

Run and terminate Cat5e/Cat6, coax, speaker wire, and low voltage cabling
Install network jacks, patch panels, conduits, camera systems, and wall plates
Mount and configure PoE cameras, NVRs, and related smart security gear
Install in-wall and ceiling speakers, AV devices, and structured wiring panels
Work in attics, crawl spaces, and drop ceilings (residential + commercial)
Perform light electrical work (replacing outlets, extending circuits, etc.)
Troubleshoot cabling, connectivity, and physical infrastructure issues
Maintain clean installs and document completed work

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of hands-on field experience
Comfortable using tools: drills, fish tape, punch-down tools, cable testers, etc.
Strong attention to detail and clean finish work
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Own tools preferred
Electrician experience highly preferred (no license required for low voltage)

Nice to Have:

Experience with: Ring, Uniview, Hikvision, Unifi, Lutron, Crestron
Networking knowledge (IP setup, switch wiring)
Low voltage certification, CCNA, electricians, or other tech credentials

Based out of Costa Mesa, CA
Fieldwork across Orange County, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Diego

\t•\tComfortable with attic work, ladders, fishing walls, and working in finished homes
\t•\tMust have your own hand tools and reliable transportation
\t•\tStrong problem-solving and time management skills
\t•\tBasic understanding of electrical code and safety practices (no license required)
\t•\t(Bonus) Familiar with security camera brands like Ring, Hikvision, Uniview, etc.
