Deliver precise and passionate radiation therapy treatments as a skilled Radiation Therapist in a well-equipped medical setting located in Santa Clara, CA. This contract position offers the opportunity to apply advanced clinical skills independently, ensuring each patient receives safe, accurate care that aligns with physician-developed treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute routine and specialized radiation therapy and simulation procedures for cancer patients following established protocols.
- Operate and maintain plex radiation therapy equipment, performing necessary documentation, quality controls, and coordinating repairs.
- Collaborate closely with physicians during therapy procedures and provide clear, professional explanations to patients to ease anxiety.
- Mentor new therapists and students, promoting a supportive learning environment that builds clinical confidence and petence.
- Manage clerical duties including updating electronic health records, scheduling appointments, and maintaining inventory for departmental supplies.
- Uphold safety standards, minimizing radiation exposure through protective measures and maintaining a clean, pliant workspace.
Qualifications and Certifications:
- Current BLS certification.
- Registered Radiation Therapist credentials such as AART and CRT.
- Proven experience performing radiation treatment procedures and operating therapy equipment.
- Strong clinical judgment with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent munication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary teamwork.

Schedule:
