Job DescriptionProficiency in all aspects of framing, including floor systems, wall framing, roof framing, and installing sheathing and other framing components. Supervise and guide a team of carpenters and framers, providing training, assigning tasks, and ensuring teamwork, Oversee daily construction activities, focusing on the framing portion of the project to keep it on schedule and within budget. Address on-site challenges and interpret updated blueprints, specifications, and communicate with Management proficiently.
- Leadership Skills: The ability to lead and motivate a construction crew.
- Blueprint Reading: Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural plans and schematics.
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of framing techniques and carpentry.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication with crews, management, and other trades.
- Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols, sometimes including OSHA certifications.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve on-site issues quickly.
