Key Responsibilities:

· Project Support and Coordination: Support the Project Manager in the overall planning, execution, and control of construction projects. Coordinate project activities, track progress, and ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.

· Documentation and Communication: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, meeting minutes, and reports. Communicate effectively with project team members, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

· Subcontractor and Vendor Management: Assist in the procurement and management of subcontractors and vendors. Review bids, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance to ensure compliance with project requirements.

· Site Coordination and Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, quality, and safety. Coordinate with field personnel to resolve issues and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.

· Quality Control and Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure that work is performed in accordance with project specifications and industry standards. Assist in conducting quality inspections and identifying any potential issues.

· Cost Control and Tracking: Assist in tracking project costs and identifying potential cost overruns. Prepare and submit change orders as needed. Monitor subcontractor invoices and ensure accuracy.

· Safety Management: Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all project personnel. Conduct regular safety inspections and participate in safety meetings.

· Risk Management: Identify and assess potential project risks. Contribute to the development and implementation of risk mitigation plans.

· Problem Solving and Decision Making: Support the Project Manager in identifying and resolving project challenges. Contribute to decision-making processes and offer solutions to project-related issues.

· Professional Development: Continuously develop project management skills and knowledge through training, mentorship, and on-the-job experience.

Professional Experience/Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture from a top-tier school.

· 3-5+ years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

· Experience with complex tenant improvement projects is a plus.

· Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, even under pressure.

· In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.

· Proficiency in project management software (e.g., ACC, Procore, Bluebeam) and other relevant technologies.

· Licenses and Certifications: Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or Construction Management certifications (preferred). OSHA 30-hour construction safety certification.
