Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
\n• BSN degree required
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (must be AHA certified)
\n• California RN license required at time of submission
\n• Epic charting system experience preferred
\n• Patient ratios: 2:1 during days and nights
\n• Every other weekend requirement
\n• On call/call off based on census
\n• 12 hours of orientation provided
\n• Possibility to float to ER or Med/Surg units (Med/Surg as last resort)
\n• When floating to Med/Surg, nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4-5
\n• Care for patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
\n• Daily census typically 4-6 patients in a 6-bed, 9-room unit
\n• Skills include arterial line management, ventilator management, central line care, blood product administration, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, and various critical care procedures
\n• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
\n• 50-mile travel requirement applies
\n• Modules completed during orientation (1-5 hours average, completed through e-learning)
