Overview: Connexus Hub is hiring a Senior Network Engineer to lead sustainment of the Cyber Infrastructure Network (CIN). This role provides expert-level engineering support for LAN/WAN architecture, DISA STIG compliance, and QoS optimization to ensure high-availability connectivity.
 
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Lead configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Cisco/Extreme switches, routers, and firewalls.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with DISA STIGs, IAVMs, and Army cybersecurity policies.</li>
<li>Conduct quarterly capacity analyses and implement QoS to prioritize instructional/test traffic.</li>
<li>Support redundant/failover architecture for maximum uptime.</li>
<li>Mentor junior network technicians and RSS field engineers.</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.</li>
<li>10+ years network engineering experience supporting DoD environments.</li>
<li>Extreme Networks Certified Specialist or Engineer certification.</li>
<li>CCNP or equivalent highly preferred.</li>
<li>Proven record of sustaining 99.95% network uptime across enterprise-scale networks.</li>
<li>Clearance: Secret.</li>
