We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector who will be responsible for establishing quality standards for various products. The role involves reading blueprints and specifications to ensure operations meet production standards and recommending adjustments to improve processes. You will inspect and test materials and equipment using devices such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Additionally, you will remove products that do not meet production standards, recommend strategies for improvement, and perform random inspections to assess product quality.
Responsibilities
- Establish quality standards for manufactured products.
- Read blueprints and specifications to ensure compliance with production standards.
- Recommend necessary adjustments and changes to production processes.
- Inspect and test materials and equipment using precision measuring tools.
- Remove non-compliant products and suggest strategies for quality improvement.
- Accept or reject finished products and discuss inspection results with the production team.
- Conduct random inspections to assess product quality.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of mechanical inspection experience, preferably in Aerospace.
- Familiarity with working to drawings and prints to ensure parts meet standards.
- Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong communication skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $37.00/hr.
