Pay: Starting at $19 per hour, with compensation negotiable depending on experience, plus shift differential for PM, NOC, and weekend shifts

We are seeking compassionate and dependable Behavioral Health Residential Caregivers to support adults in a community-based residential program. This environment serves clients who are building independence and managing ongoing mental health challenges. Shift Availability

Please note:
This position is available only for the following shifts, and weekend availability is required:

  • PM Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
  • NOC Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM

No day shifts are currently open.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide supervision and daily support to residents in a home-like behavioral health setting
  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and routine care needs
  • Facilitate or support group activities and skill-building sessions
  • Monitor client well-being, document observations, and communicate concerns
  • Encourage positive coping strategies and reinforce treatment goals
  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
  • Demonstrate patience, professionalism, and consistency when interactions become challenging

What We’re Looking For

  • A steady, positive approach with the ability to remain calm in emotionally charged situations
  • At least 1 year of experience in caregiving, behavioral health, mental health support, or related patient care work preferred
  • Experience in a residential or group home setting is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with SPMI populations or previous mental health exposure is helpful
  • Reliable, empathetic, and comfortable working in a residential care environment
  • Willingness to work PM or NOC shifts, including one or two weekend days

Compliance and Onboarding Requirements

  • Standard nationwide background check
  • DOJ fingerprinting and clearance process
  • TB test
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
  • CPI training provided if not already certified
