Position Overview
The Construction Project Engineer will oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including contractors, architects, and clients, to achieve project goals effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all phases of construction projects from planning to execution.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring compliance with established timelines and financial constraints.
  • Prepare and review design documents and specifications using AutoCAD and other engineering software.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety regulations and building codes.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure alignment on project objectives.
  • Implement quality control measures to guarantee project standards and specifications are met.
  • Assist in contract management, including negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise during construction phases.
  • Prepare detailed estimates and project reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in construction management and engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
  • Strong understanding of contract management and construction law.
  • Experience with budgeting and financial management in construction projects.
  • Knowledge of scheduling techniques and project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
