Direct Support Professional 1 (Full-Time) – La Puente, CA
Pay: $21.00/hr DOE
Shifts: Full-Time Thursday - Saturday PM & Sunday - Monday NOC
Location: La Puente, CA 91744
Redwood Family Care Network provides person-centered support to adults with developmental disabilities. DSPs promote safety, dignity, and independence while helping clients with daily living and behavioral support.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with hygiene, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, and meal prep

Follow Individual Program Plans and daily routines

Support behavior redirection through activities (walking, reading, games, computer tasks)

Transport clients in company vehicles as needed
Requirements
-
High School Diploma/GED; CPR/First Aid; CPI; DSP 1 required
-
1+ year of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illness preferred

Valid driver’s license (21+), insurance, and clean driving record (≤2 points)
-
Able to lift 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors in all weather

Must pass background check and other pre-employment screenings
