Bilingual Case Manager for a workers' compensation law firm located in Irvine CA.
This is a Temporary to Hire opportunity paying $25-33/hr, depending on experience. This is an ON-SITE position, hours 8:00 am- 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday, overtime possible, as needed. Benefits include medical insurance and PTO.
Responsibilities:
- Able to spot issues and analyze cases in high volumes.
- Opening, filing, and amending applications.
- Must be able to navigate case from start to finish.
- Processing and managing workers compensation cases.
- Reviewing, drafting, and responding to correspondence.
- Conducting periodic review and evaluation of claim.
- Maintaining constant contact with client, carrier, DWC, primary doctor, and defense firm.
- Coordinating doctors and panels.
- Preparing files for hearing and trials.
- Drafting and organizing position letters.
- Rating and settling cases.
- Researching law.
- Managing legal assistants.
- Train Staff.
- Compassionate and Passionate about fighting for the injured workers.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
Requirements:
- The Case Manager must have at least 3-5+ years of experience in workers' compensation law. If you do not have the experience, please do not apply.
- The candidate must also have exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a MUST.
- The candidate must be able to manage others as well, but will not shy away from gritty work.
- Ideal candidate will be a self-starter and leader.
