Position Summary:
We are Precision Tube & Catheter, Inc. (PT&C), a leader in advanced medical tube manufacturing for interventional and implantable devices. We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Technician to operate and optimize medical tube production. You will be responsible for setting up, monitoring, and troubleshooting extrusion machinery to meet production schedules and stringent quality standards. Key duties include conducting inspections of raw materials and finished products, maintaining precise production records, and performing routine equipment maintenance. Collaboration with Quality Control and Engineering teams to resolve challenges and improve processes is essential. The role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations, along with assisting in training new team members. Proven experience in extrusion operations and a strong commitment to quality and safety are critical.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Operate and monitor extrusion machines to produce medical tubes, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
2.Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot extrusion equipment to optimize performance and product quality.
3.Conduct regular inspections of raw materials and finished products to verify compliance with specifications.
4.Maintain accurate production records, including material usage, equipment performance, and any quality control issues.
5.Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to identify and resolve production challenges and improve processes.
6.Perform routine maintenance on extrusion equipment and assist with repairs as needed.
7.Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations throughout the production process.
8.Assist in training new team members on extrusion processes and safety practices.
Qualifications:
1.A high school diploma is required, a bachelor's degree is preferred, and technical certifications in manufacturing, engineering, or related fields are an asset.
2.A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in medical or mechanical industry is preferred. And A minimum of 2 years of previous experience in extrusion commissioning.
3.Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
4.Knowledge of quality control procedures and regulatory requirements relevant to medical device manufacturing.
5.Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
6.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
7.Basic computer skills, including familiarity with production management software.
8.Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English is highly preferred.
Working Conditions:
Work is conducted in both office and manufacturing environments, requiring compliance with all applicable safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.
