Bachelor's degree, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Deliver advanced radiation therapy treatments with precision and passion in a dynamic healthcare environment located in San Jose, CA. This contract role offers the opportunity to apply specialized skills in radiation therapy within a supportive clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute routine and specialized radiation treatments according to physician-developed plans, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
- Operate and maintain plex radiation therapy equipment, documenting readings and coordinating repairs as needed.
- Provide clear and professional education to patients to alleviate anxiety and promote cooperation during procedures.
- Perform clerical duties including updating patient appointments, managing electronic health records, and inventory control.
- Uphold rigorous safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment.
- Mentor and orient new staff and students to foster skill development and confidence within the team.
Qualifications and Certifications:
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Certification as a Radiation Therapist (CRT) and registration with AART.
- Proven ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and demonstrate clinical expertise.
- Excellent munication skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Schedule:
- Day shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
