Job Description
Join a dynamic team as a General Laborer in a rapidly growing manufacturing environment, producing heavy industrial equipment for the door industry. This role is crucial in preparing metal parts for painting, contributing to the creation of top-tier CNC machinery.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sand metal parts to prepare them for painting.
- Work collaboratively in a team setting to handle parts ranging from small to large sizes.
- Stand and perform physical tasks for 10 hours a day, including power washing and manual sanding.
- Adhere to safety protocols by wearing protective gear such as masks, gloves, and hazmat suits.
- Operate motorized sanders and perform hand sanding on smaller parts.
- Contribute to overcoming the backlog by diligently prepping a large number of parts for painting.
Essential Skills
- Comfortable standing and working on feet for extended periods.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and work in a team-lifting environment.
- Willingness to wear protective clothing and work outdoors in the elements.
- Strong team player with a proactive attitude.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in painting metal using sprayers is advantageous.
- Prior experience in car washing or similar physical roles is beneficial.

Work Environment
Work outdoors in a covered area near the scenic Petaluma river. Engage in manual labor while wearing personal protective equipment, including masks and hazmat suits. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
