Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license with no negative indicators
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent nursing experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (State of California for RNs)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Fluency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English
- Must meet VA credentialing and privileging requirements
- Verifiable education, licensure, certifications, and work history
- Completion of VA mandatory annual training, including:
- Compliance & Business Integrity
- Emergency Preparedness
- Infection Control
- Government Ethics
- Safety & Security
- VA Privacy & HIPAA Training
- Must meet infection control and immunization requirements (TB/PPD, influenza vaccine, etc.)
- Must comply with OSHA bloodborne pathogen standards
- Must pass background investigation, E-Verify, and citizenship requirements
Must not appear on the HHS OIG Excluded Individuals/Entities List
