A very established California Litigation Law Firm with several offices across the State is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to work with our Litigation Practice Group. This Practice Group supports very large and complex litigation cases. This position is for our Oakland, California office. The position is HYBRID - (3 days in office; 2 days remote).

Requirements:

· Minimum 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal in California

· Have a Bachelor’s Degree

· Be a Paralegal and able to bill your hours

· Knowledge of the Local Rules of Court and Civil Procedure

· Possess strong written and verbal communication skills

· Strong legal research database skills in either Westlaw or Lexis

· Have experience cite checking

· Able to handle eDiscovery processes and platforms

· Proficient in Office 365 - including Excel, time and billing software, and Adobe

Job Duties:

· Draft, review and revise documents including correspondence and pleadings

· Manage document productions

· Heavy discovery propound and respond

· Identify, gather and prepare Exhibit Binders

· Cite-checking briefs

· Document Review

· Assist in deposition and hearing preparation

Salary: $50.00-$60.00 per hour, DOE
