Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide occupational therapy services within a school setting supporting elementary-age students with diverse needs. This contract position is based in Modesto, CA, offering a rewarding opportunity to work with children across early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school levels, with a primary focus on an elementary caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy evaluations and interventions for students in elementary schools.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans to meet educational goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies and state regulations.
- Provide consultative services to support classroom modifications and student participation.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with valid state licensure.
- School-based occupational therapy experience is required.
- Experience working with elementary school students preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood, middle school, and high school therapy needs is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with educators and families.
