Extended Family Services is an established organization providing services to adults who are developmentally delayed. We’re looking for someone to join our Independent Living Skills (ILS) team. Our team consists of dedicated people who are passionate about supporting people who are developmentally delayed who want to fulfill their goals and dreams and live independently.
The ILS Instructor teaches people the skills needed to live in their own home, to utilize and participate in their community and provides on-going support. If you want to work on behalf of people who are developmentally delayed in a supportive environment this could be the job for you.
Service area: West Contra Costa County and Alameda County.
Required: Experience working with people who are developmentally delayed, CA Driver’s license, reliable and registered automobile, car insurance, clean driving record and ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Education: A.A. / B.A. degree or College Credits preferred but not required
