Director of E-Commerce
Location: Lawndale, CA (SW LA. Some hybrid flexibility)
Salary: 130 - 150k + 50% bonus

Seeking a Director of E-Commerce to lead our online retail operations, and to shape/execute our e-commerce strategy across all digital channels. Responsible for overseeing the entire e-commerce ecosystem, from strategy development to operational execution, ensuring that our online presence is not only competitive but also a leader in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy that aligns with our business goals and market trends. Identify and capitalize on new opportunities to expand our digital footprint in the B2C sector.
- Oversee all aspects of e-commerce operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer service. Ensure seamless integration between online and offline channels.
- Stay ahead of the curve in e-commerce technologies and trends. Lead the adoption of cutting-edge tools and platforms, including product experience management (PXM), digital asset management (DAM), and sophisticated digital shelf analytics, to enhance our online offerings.
- Utilize advanced data analytics to inform strategy and measure performance. Drive continuous improvement through A/B testing, customer feedback, and market analysis.
- Implement initiatives to increase online sales and profitability. Develop and execute marketing strategies tailored for e-commerce channels to boost customer acquisition and retention.
- Build and lead a high-performing e-commerce team of 6-8 members. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Mentor and develop team members to achieve their full potential.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Provide regular updates on e-commerce performance and strategic initiatives. Influence decision-making with data-backed insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.
- 10+ years in e-commerce, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving e-commerce growth and profitability in B2C environments.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and financial acumen. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Deep understanding of e-commerce technologies, including PXM, DAM, and digital analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate high-impact initiatives, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
