Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum EIPA score of 3.5
- Valid state licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter
- Experience working in school environments supporting students' communication needs
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and related interpreting skills
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with educators, students, and families
Location:
- Chico, CA
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and effective sign language interpretation during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events
- Facilitate clear communication between Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, teachers, and staff
- Support the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as they relate to interpreting services
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance interpreting skills and stay current with best practices
