Job Description

Job DescriptionShape Precision. Build What Matters.

Step onto our shop floor in Santa Fe Springs, CA, where complex parts move from digital models to real components every day. As a Multi-Axis CNC Mill-Turn & Lathe Machinist, you’ll take ownership of parts from setup through inspection, using modern equipment to deliver exacting results for innovative customer programs.

A day in the life

You arrive to a clean, organized cell, pull up the traveler, verify the print, and plan your work. You set up the Mill-Turn and Lathe, dial in tooling and workholding, touch off tools, and run a first article. With micrometers and gauges in hand, you verify critical features, tweak offsets, and document your process. When something feels off, you collaborate with teammates to troubleshoot, iterate, and move the job forward—safely and efficiently.

What you'll do

  • Set up and run CNC Mill-Turn and Lathe equipment to produce precise, spec-compliant parts.
  • Interpret blueprints, GD&T callouts, and technical drawings to plan machining operations.
  • Perform in-process inspections and final checks to maintain tight tolerances.
  • Adjust tooling, offsets, and parameters to optimize cycle times and surface finish.
  • Keep your area clean and follow all safety procedures and shop standards.
  • Work cross-functionally to resolve machining challenges and improve results.
  • Accurately record production details and maintain traceable documentation.

What you bring

  • Hands-on CNC machining experience with both Mill-Turn and Lathe platforms.
  • Working knowledge of CNC programming concepts and G-code.
  • Fluency in reading technical drawings and specifications.
  • Comfort with inspection tools and quality control practices.
  • Detail orientation, problem-solving mindset, and clear communication.
  • Team-first attitude in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; machining credentials or certifications are a plus.

Why you'll thrive here

We invest in state-of-the-art technology and believe in continuous improvement. You’ll have the room to grow your skills, the support of an experienced team, and the satisfaction of seeing your work perform in the real world.
