Step into our shop, where precision meets innovation. Under the guidance of seasoned shop supervision, your mission is clear: bring blueprints to life through skilled welding of steel, aluminum, and Invar 36 parts using advanced MIG/TIG techniques.
Your Daily Adventures:
- Prepare welding machinery according to job specifications, setting the stage for creativity.
- Decipher blueprints or drawings, the maps guiding your bespoke welding solutions.
- Transform steel, aluminum, and Invar 36 components into masterpieces with MIG/TIG methodologies.
- Craft repairs, breathing new life into broken or damaged parts.
- Design fixtures, jigs, gauges, and specialized tools, tailoring them to unique needs.
- Maintain an organized work area, showing respect for equipment and facilities.
- Collaborate with your team, synchronizing efforts to boost productivity and efficiency.
- Welcome challenges: assume additional duties as assigned by management.
Your Arsenal of Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED essential.
- 3 – 5 years of tangible welding experience.
- Honed expertise through a college or technical school welding certificate.
- Acquaintance with materials like steel, aluminum, and Invar 36.
- Proven hands with both MIG and TIG welding.
- Insightful with machines, tools, and is a blueprint whisperer.
- Accuracy with calipers and tape measures underlines your craftsmanship.
- Note: Must satisfy US Person status due to Export Control compliance per 22.C.F.R. §.
