Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to support a 250-bed hospital in the Salinas, CA area. This role is ideal for candidates holding an active California pharmacist license with hospital experience, who are available for full-time work and ready to bring a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Key responsibilities include providing comprehensive clinical pharmacy services, overseeing medication management, and ensuring safe and effective pharmaceutical care aligned with hospital protocols. The candidate will work with Meditech IT systems and Pyxis medication dispensing technology within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Work Schedule:
- Variable days and afternoons
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active California pharmacist license
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience
- Full-time availability
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced hospital setting
Location:
- Salinas, CA (with flexibility to travel and relocate for this assignment)
