Adjunct faculty is responsible for clinical supervision and/or course instruction and related responsibilities in the nursing program. The adjunct faculty works directly assisting full time faculty with the overall coordination of the assigned agency/nursing course.

Qualifications:

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college which shall include courses in nursing, or in natural, behavioral or social sciences relevant to nursing practice
  • Direct patient care experience within the previous five (5) years in the nursing area to which he or she will be assigned
  • Current active RN license

Essential Functions:

  • Participate on program and department committees as assigned
  • Advise students as assigned
  • Assist with the recruitment of adjunct faculty
  • Assist with program and department review and evaluation activities
