Job Summary:The Church Systems Administrator manages, supports, and optimizes Planning Center Online (PCO) for Revelation Church LA. This role ensures secure, efficient workflows, accurate data management, and effective communication across departments, ministries, leaders, volunteers, and the congregation. Serving as the primary technical and strategic resource for church systems, the Administrator aligns their capabilities with organizational goals while providing training, troubleshooting, reporting, and process improvements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary expert and support contact for Planning Center Online (PCO) and other ministry systems.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and system security, ensuring data privacy.
- Configure workflows, forms, events, and automations to streamline ministry operations.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement updates or improvements.
- Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support leadership decisions.
- Train staff, leaders, and volunteers on best practices and provide step-by-step resources.
- Collaborate with web, communications, and ministry teams to align systems with organizational goals.
- Send mass communications to staff, volunteers, or congregation members as needed.
- Stay current on system updates, features, and best practices; recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred.
- 1+ year experience with Planning Center Online, Realm, ChurchTrac, or similar software; church or nonprofit experience a plus.
- Proven ability in user support, workflow management, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and process management skills.
- Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive data with discretion and collaborate across teams.
- Skilled in reporting, dashboards, and workflow automation.
- Proactive, reliable, quick learner with a positive attitude.
- Experience working with church or nonprofit systems is strongly preferred.
