1st shift hours: 5:30am to 2:00pm
Pay rate: $23.00 to $25.00
JOB SUMMARY
Works under general supervision and is responsible for work output. On a production basis, performs medium to heavy electronic and electromechanical assembly and subassembly work. Semi-repetitive to repetitive-type work. May make simple decisions, but must generally follow well established precedents.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Advanced understanding of ESD controls, soldering, epoxy mixing, bonding, assembly and packaging techniques, as well as handling of Electro Mechanical assemblies.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
Some mechanical troubleshooting skills;
Proficient microelectronic assembly skills
Proficient cable harness and PCB assembly;
Proficient mechanical assembly of small parts and good understanding of torque requirements;
Proficient at interpreting blueprints and adhering to instructions;
Proficient high voltage potting and high voltage testing skills
Shall be certified to IDC Specialist and J-STD-001
Proficient at identifying and troubleshooting faulty components
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Six (6) or more years of related electronics assembly experience.
J-STD-001 Certification preferred.
This position may require interface with other departments within the Company, such as Quality, Production Control and Engineering. This position requires strong, cooperative teamwork, relate well with all employees, and the ability to work independently.
TOOLS/EQUIPMENT USED ON THE JOB
Must be able to operate winding and braiding machinery, torque wrenches, digital multi-meters, up to 12kv Hipot, solder irons, cutters, wire strippers, crimpers, heat guns and common hand tools.
