We are currently seeking an experienced Process Quality Engineer to join a growing team in a technology-focused manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, collaborative, and skilled in ensuring quality and compliance across internal manufacturing operations and supplier performance.

Process Quality Engineer Job Duties include:


• Monitor supplier and customer quality performance and develop regular reporting with KPIs

• Perform root cause analysis (8D) and recommend effective corrective/preventative actions

• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) on PCBAs, sheet metal parts, and systems

• Audit manufactured goods for compliance with engineering and manufacturing standards

• Perform supplier audits, ensuring alignment with configuration control documentation

• Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) and provide quality-related insights

• Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality systems and processes

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

• 5–10 years of quality engineering or manufacturing experience (PCBA experience preferred)

• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail

• Effective communicator across internal teams and external partners

• Hands-on experience with quality measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, etc.)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros)

• Familiarity with industry standards: IPC-A-610, IPC-WHMA-620, AS9100, AS9102

• Working knowledge of PFMEA, DFM, DFT, DFA, and ability to develop Quality Plans

• Experience with quality/reliability metrics: Gage R&R, Cpk, Ppk, FMEA, FPY, Control Plans

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience is a plus
