Occupational Therapist (OT) – Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a collaborative rehabilitation team dedicated to restoring independence and improving quality of life for residents in a post-acute and long-term care setting. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive, resident-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve functional mobility, ADLs, safety, and independence
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including nursing and rehab staff to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications

  • Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
  • Strong clinical judgment and interpersonal communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Skilled nursing or post-acute care experience preferred, but not required
