A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a vibrant school setting located in Murrieta, CA. This contract role spans the current school year (CSY) and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on childrens communication development in an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions to students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress
- Monitor and document student performance and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional expertise
Desired Qualifications:
- Credentialed and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in school-based settings
- Proven ability to work with children ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive learning environment
